Mr.George and his wife Sotiria live by nature. They make all kinds of organic homemade products including vegetables, olive oil, marmalades, wine and even hand soap. If you prefer, you may request to have your meal prepared by Mr. Giorgos in the traditional brick oven, with a choice of fresh vegetables picked from the garden or a variety of fresh fish right off his boat.

Lixouri is the main town on the peninsula of Paliki in the island of Kefalonia. Liksouri, only 10 minutes away from Casa Kounopetra, is the second largest community in Kefalonia and it's a short distance from the magnificent beaches of Koutala, Agious, and Mania, and with a view to the most stunning sunset in western Greece.
Situated only 10km from Casa Kounopetra, is one of the most majestic landscapes of Kefalonia, Kipouria Monastery. Its founding goes back to the 17th century and its name derives from the numerous gardens which the monks maintained in order to make a living. It’s built on a vertical rock over the sea which offers its visitors unforgettable sunsets.
The lighthouse of Saint Theodoroi lies on a man-made peninsula close to Argostoli, the capital of the island. It is a circular structure with 20 columns and its tower is 8 m tall. It was originally built in 1828 by the British administrator Charles Napier, who ruled the island that time.
Xi is a four kilometres long beach, known for the striking brick-red colour of its sand and the grey white cliffs behind.The clay of the cliffs is said to have medicinal properties that can cure skin disorders.As well as sunbeds there are a few watersports on the beach, including jet skis and banana rides as well as some beach volleyball.
